Sol Children Theatre Performing Arts Camp presents an amazing, original and visually stunning musical version of the classic Lewis Carroll tale Alice in Wonderland. Based on the 1952 Walt Disney classic, this version of Alice features all of the beloved characters such as The Mad Hatter, The Queen of Hearts, The Cheshire Cat and a multitude of others as they swing, swirl, slip, slide, and get their groove on through the rabbit hole into a Wonderland where all of your dreams - including a few nightmares! - can come true. Not to be missed!

· CLOSED AUDITION: 1 minute prepared comedic monologue … preferably from a classic
· if interested in being considered for the Chorus come prepared with 16 bars of a musical theatre selection performed
a cappella (no backing track to be used)
· If new to Sol Children theatre please bring a brief bio and a headshot (can be a photo, does not need to be professionally done)

· Hercules is a fully-staged comedy with several musical theatre characters/sections

BRINGING SUMMER THEATRE FESTIVAL 09 to a close is the tale as old as time keeping theatre cool during the hot summer! While closely following the traditional beloved fable, this imaginative adaptation features Blotti, the father, who wanders into the castle of the Beast; Beauty, his daughter, whose innocence and goodness sees through the ugliness of the Beast to find the handsome young prince. Add two haughty sisters and Manello the valiant lover for a summer love story that moves, excites, scares and touches!

Sol Children Theatre Summer Camp once again creates an outrageous, hilarious, original musical revue loosely…very loosely… based on an actual touring company of midgets who performed skewered musical versions of popular children’s literature. Remember Bugs Bunny’s classic “Rabbit of Seville” and “What’s Opera Doc?”? The Liliputian Opera Company will have audiences and actors (literally) rolling in the aisles in a zany spoof of the world of opera divas, insensitive tenors, scene-chewing gypsy chorus members and blustering basses all rolled into a wild cartoon thrill ride of a musical.
